A consultative meeting of the Director of the Selection Core of Lorestan University with the President and staff of the Lorestan Science and Technology Park was held.

Concurrently with the auspicious days of the Fajr Decade, a consultative meeting was held between the Director of the Selection Core of Lorestan University (Behrouz Derikvand) and the President of the Science and Technology Park of Lorestan Province (Dr. Amin Taheri-Garavand), along with the Vice President and staff of the park.

According to the Public Relations of Lorestan University, in this meeting, which was held on Monday, the 16th of Bahman of the current year, hosted by the Office of the President of the Science and Technology Park of Lorestan Province, and attended by Seyedeh Somayeh Seif-o-Sadat (Expert of the Selection Core of Lorestan University), Behrouz Derikvand, Director of the Selection Core of Lorestan University and Secretary of the Consultative Council of Selection Directors of Executive Bodies of Lorestan Province, in his speech, citing the statements, teachings, and guidance of Imam Khomeini (RA) and the Supreme Leader (May God protect him), explained the importance of the position of selection in the sacred system of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Derikvand stated: "The function of selection in attracting committed and specialized individuals is important; selection is not limited to the recruitment stage of individuals, but also, in addition to that, it is important during the stages of service, especially in status conversions, and this indicates that the approach of selection is to strengthen and improve administrative health."

He stated: "One of the main goals of selection is to help further sanitize the administrative system; therefore, the role of selection is an important role."

The Director of the Selection Core of Lorestan University, stated: "Training is one of the important issues; our effort is that the employees of the organization have a better understanding of selection and its laws; because the approach of strengthening a healthy work environment is based on preventing organizational anomalies in line with the goals of the sacred system of the Islamic Republic of Iran."

The Important Position of Selection in the Islamic Republic System

In this meeting, Dr. Taheri-Garavand, President of the Science and Technology Park, said: "The position of selection in the Islamic Republic is a very important position; for this reason, selectors should always strengthen piety and God-centeredness in their work and avoid extremism and negligence, and of course, the main criterion is the implementation of laws and regulations."

He stated: "The position of selection is a protective position of the organization, and for this reason, it has the role of the organization's trustee; on the other hand, the issue of paying attention to the interests of the country shows the importance of the activity of selection and selectors."

The President of the Science and Technology Park of Lorestan Province continued: "Selection, while it must play its important role in critical situations, should always be decisive in performing its duties along with Islamic compassion and kindness."

Dr. Taheri-Garavand stated: "Individuals who are employed in an organization should always be aware of the laws and regulations of the organization, and the role of selection in promoting and strengthening intra-organizational lawfulness is important."

The President of the Science and Technology Park of Lorestan Province appreciated the director and staff of the Selection Core of Lorestan University.

In this meeting, the staff of the Science and Technology Park of Lorestan Province raised their questions and viewpoints, and the Director of the Selection Core of Lorestan University and the expert of this core answered the questions.
