University of Lorestan Selectors Honored

Coinciding with the arrival of January 5th, the anniversary of the issuance of Imam Khomeini's (RA) decree on the formation of the country's selection institution and Selection Day, the selectors of Lorestan University were honored in the presence of the university president, Dr. Ali Nazari.

According to the Public Relations of Lorestan University, the ceremony honoring the selectors of Lorestan University was held on Saturday, January 5th of this year in the meeting hall of the university presidency.

At the beginning of the program, Behrouz Derikvand, the director of the Selection Core of Lorestan University and the secretary of the Consultation Council of the Selection Cores of the Executive Agencies of Lorestan Province, presented a report on the activities of the university's Selection Core over the past year and some of the problems.

In his speech, he explained that based on the evaluation of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, the performance of the Selection Core of Lorestan University has earned the "Very Good" rating, which is considered the highest rating.

Derikvand, citing the words of the Supreme Leader of the Revolution, added: "The Supreme Leader (may God protect him) said: Selection is the arm, the means of work, the seeing eye and the listening ear in finding efficient people."

The director of the Selection Core of Lorestan University, while thanking the selectors of Lorestan University, explained: "Considering the anniversary of the historic decree of Imam Khomeini (RA) on the formation of the Selection institution, which is definitely a turning point in the history of the administrative system of our beloved country, it is appropriate to appreciate this important and historic day, the valuable efforts of the hardworking and dedicated colleagues of the Selection Core of Lorestan University, who, with their extra effort and diligent endeavors over the past year, have provided the ground for the realization of the wishes of the Supreme Leader (may God protect him) regarding wise and correct selection, and also for obtaining a very good performance rating from the Central Committee for the Selection of Ministry of Science, Research and Technology staff, I would like to express my appreciation and gratitude."

Then, the selectors of Lorestan University each shared their views and suggestions regarding improving the quality of the Selection Core's performance with the president of Lorestan University.

The appreciation plaques for the selectors of Lorestan University, signed by Dr. Ali Nazari, the university president, were presented to them.

Confidentiality, ethics, and adherence to the law

After that, Dr. Ali Nazari, the president of Lorestan University, said in a speech: "In selection activities, confidentiality, ethics, and adherence to the law are of great importance."

Dr. Nazari explained: "In the holy system of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the function of selection is a very sensitive and important function; the selector, while having to observe the principles of Sharia, ethics, and the law, must also consider the interests of the organization and help improve the efficiency of the organization's human resources."

The president of Lorestan University called for the use of new technologies to improve the statistical analysis of the Selection Core's activities, as much as possible.

He added: "The path of selection is to help strengthen the commitment and expertise of human resources, improve the efficiency of the organization, and strengthen administrative health, within the framework of the goals and laws of the holy system of the Islamic Republic and the discourse of the Islamic Revolution."
